White sage is an aromatic plant, known for its unique cleansing and purifying properties. It is used by the the Native American's in smudging ceremonies where the sacred herbs are smouldered/burned, and is one of our most popular smudge sticks.
Ethically sourced; the White Sage is gathered and collected by Native Americans in the state of California.
How to Use
The tradition of smudging is a sacred practice. To begin, you’ll need your smudge stick, a lighter or matches, a fireproof container to catch ashes, and optionally, a feather or fan to help spread the smoke.
Light the end of your smudge stick until it catches fire, then gently blow out the flame so it smolders and produces smoke.
Once you’ve finished, extinguish the smudge stick by pressing it into the fireproof container until it stops smoking.
Be cautious with fire and keep a bowl of sand or water nearby to extinguish the smudge stick if needed. Please respect the tradition of smudging, as it is a sacred practice in many cultures.
