Craftmoor was born in 2018, the vision of two brothers—Grant and Ross Taylor—who share a deep passion for both the scientific and spiritual worlds. What began as a shared curiosity for the Earth's natural beauty and the principles of mindfulness has grown into a business rooted in balance, harmony, and holistic well-being.
Grant, a qualified teacher who supports children with special educational needs, brings a rich scientific background to Craftmoor. With a degree in Geology, his lifelong fascination with rocks, minerals, and fossils forms the backbone of our collection. Grant’s love for the Earth is further enriched by his keen interest in marine biology, giving him a profound appreciation for the interconnectedness of nature’s wonders.
On the other hand, Ross represents the spiritual side of Craftmoor. With a deep connection to Zen philosophy and Eastern martial arts, Ross holds a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Judo and is a dedicated follower of the late T.P. Leggett, particularly his teachings on Zen and Buddhism. His spiritual insight brings a calming, mindful energy to the business, helping Craftmoor offer more than just products—each piece is chosen with intention, mindfulness, and care.
Together, Grant and Ross create the perfect balance of science and spirit at Craftmoor, infusing their diverse interests and hared values into every aspect of the company. Both brothers live in the picturesque county of Devonshire, where the rugged beauty of Dartmoor National Park inspires their work.
