Our Desert Sage is harvested and wrapped by Native Americans to be ethical & sustainable. These are 4 inches long, about 1 1/2 inches in width and are wrapped with lilac yarn. We would advise smouldering these in an abalone or scallop shell.
These are vegan friendly Desert Sage Smudge Stick used to cleanse and clear crystals, sacred areas and rooms
This sacred sage is often used alongside white sage.
How to Use
The tradition of smudging is a sacred practice. To begin, you’ll need your smudge stick, a lighter or matches, a fireproof container to catch ashes, and optionally, a feather or fan to help spread the smoke.
Light the end of your smudge stick until it catches fire, then gently blow out the flame so it smolders and produces smoke.
Once you’ve finished, extinguish the smudge stick by pressing it into the fireproof container until it stops smoking.
Be cautious with fire and keep a bowl of sand or water nearby to extinguish the smudge stick if needed. Remember to respect the tradition of smudging, as it is a sacred practice in many cultures.
