Auralite is composed of a mixture of amethysts and 17 of a possible 23 minerals such as Titanite, Cacoxene, Lepidocrite, Ajoite, Hematite, Magnetite, Pyrite, Goethite, Pyrolusite, Gold, Silver, Platinum, Nickel, Copper, Iron, Limonite, Sphalerite, Covellite, Chalcopyrite, Gialite, Epidote, Bornite, Rutile. It is thought that there may be more elements but they haven’t yet been identified.
It is very ancient and an incredibly rare and powerful crystal. It is found in only one place in the world (currently) – 800km north of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. It is between 1 and 2 billion years old, but was only discovered in 2011. It was formed when a collision of meteorites struck amethyst deposits deep in the Earth so it is possible that not all of the elements contained are from this planet which makes this a very powerful crystal to work with, with very high vibrations and can be too intense if you are fairly new to working with crystals.
Because of the wide variety of components, this crystals has a wealth of healing properties: it is known as the Ultimate Master Healer.
It allows the body to relax thereby relieving and releasing stress; removing muscle spasms and eye strain, headaches and back pain. It tones down anger (often created through tension) and helps one to listen. In turn this can lead to an enhancement of intuitive abilities and manifestation powers, increasing clarity so that wisdom is understood and messages are clear.
